NE Voices Festival - Frequently Asked QuestionsWhere is the 2026 NE Voices Festival being held?
The NE Voices Voices 2026 will be held at Plymouth North High School in Plymouth, Massachusetts. What kind of groups can participate in NE Voices? The festival is open to high school singing groups of all kinds! Our clinicians specialize in contemporary a cappella, and this will be the festival’s primary focus – but you need not have an established a cappella group to attend. This is a great way to get your feet wet and discover what contemporary a cappella is all about! In certain exceptions, elementary school or middle school groups may be able to attend the festival. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you are interested in learning more. What is the cost to attend the 2026 NE Voices Festival? For the 2026 Festival, the cost is $450 for a weekend pass (Friday and Saturday), and $400 for a Saturday pass. Any additional groups from the same school will receive a $50 discount per group. What is included in the registration fee? The Saturday pass includes access to all of the Saturday workshops, a personalized masterclass for your group, and attendance to the Saturday Night Showcase. The weekend pass includes all of the above, as well as attendance to the Friday Night Competition. Please note that if you are applying to compete, you must register for a weekend pass. If your group is not accepted to the competition, your weekend pass will give you access to attend the competition as audience members. My group/school applied to the Friday Night Competition - why is a deposit required? All groups that apply to the Friday Night Competition have their materials reviewed by a committee of preliminary judges. These judges provide a service for applying groups by way of numerical scores and detailed feedback. We encourage all groups who register for a weekend pass and apply to compete to attend the festival, regardless of whether or not they are accepted to the Friday Night Competition. My group/school applied to the Friday Night Competition, but was not accepted. Can we withdraw our registration? We strongly encourage all groups to attend the festival, regardless of acceptance to the competition! However, there is a brief period after receiving your preliminary competition results that we will allow withdrawals. While the deposit is non-refundable, you will not be responsible for the full registration fee. Once an invoice has been sent for the full amount of the registration fee, you are responsible for payment. Do students need to be chaperoned at the festival? Each group must have at least one chaperone on site at all times. The cost of the chaperone’s workshop and concert attendance is included in the group pass. How do I register my group/myself for the weekend? Head to our Register page and fill out the appropriate Google form. We’ll email you back with an invoice and instructions on payment. I purchased a pass/tickets and can no longer attend. What do I do? Remember to check your schedules before registering for NE Voices events. Unfortunately, once we have sent you an invoice, tickets and passes can not be exchanged, refunded, or cancelled. If your deposit and/or full registration fee has already been submitted, we cannot refund this payment. If your payment has not yet been submitted, but you have already received an invoice, you are still responsible for the payment. Failure to pay in full will impact your group’s standing with the festival for future years. In limited exceptions, we may be able to set up a different payment schedule for you or your group. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you are interested in learning more. I am not part of a group, but would still like to attend an NE Voices Festival. Is that possible? Individual high school students, educators, and NE Voices alumni are welcome to attend festival workshops. Please head to the individual registration page! Both the Friday Night Competition and the Saturday Night Showcase performances are open to to the public. Tickets can be purchased here. |
