Audition for Nexus

Auditions for Nexus 2023 have now closed. Thank you to all who auditioned! 

Applications for Nexus 2023 were comprised of an audition video and the accompanying google form. The instructions for auditions can be found below!

Audition videos should include:

1. A short introduction including your name, pronouns, and voice part!
2. A solo demonstration (a verse and chorus of a song of your choice)
3. A part singing exercise (instructions and resources are below)
4. Vocal percussion demonstration (optional)

For part singing, please perform one voice part from the arrangement excerpt. You will find sheet music and learning/performance tracks here. While recording, please sing along to the performance track for your voice part, with the track able to be heard in your video.

Audition videos should be uploaded to YouTube as unlisted, and the link should be shared on the form.

Nexus will be held at Northgate Studio in Bedford, MA from July 17th-21st, and the registration fee is $500.
